Self-help to generate income
**Empowering Women through Self-Help Initiatives**

At Katravulapalli, we are committed to addressing the economic struggles faced by divorced and widowed women from disadvantaged sections of our society. These women often lack the education, skills, and training necessary to escape poverty and marginalization. As a result, they are sometimes forced into regrettable and unethical practices just to survive.

Recognizing their plight, we have taken practical steps to empower these vulnerable women. To date, we have distributed high-quality electrical sewing machines to over 111 women. This initiative enables them to generate sustainable income by sewing clothes, bags, and handicrafts, either for personal use or for larger business enterprises.

Our self-help program not only provides these women with a means to earn a living but also helps them rebuild their lives with self-confidence and dignity within their communities.
